Cranswick Square goes to Southport…

Cranswick Square at the award ceremony

In October a happy group from Cranswick Square Residents Group headed to Southport for the prize ceremony for the Royal Horticultural Society’s North West In Bloom awards. Cranswick Square came away with a ‘Level 5 – outstanding’ award, of which we’re incredibly proud. Congratulations must go to everyone who’s worked on building and maintaining the hanging baskets, flower tubs and flowerbeds over the last two years, and thanks to them for all their hard work. With plans to expand these onto Driffield and other streets and to the Triangle, hopefully the Square will be looking even more fantastic next year.
Elsewhere in Moss Side, The Avenues were awarded a Level 3 prize and Thornton Road Level 4 – for a full list of winners across the North West, including lots more from Manchester, see here.
