Hulme Community Garden Centre – Christmas Party and Christmas trees

Our green-fingered friends over at Hulme Community Garden Centre (on Old Birley Street, between Hulme Asda and Stretford Road) are holding a Christmas Party on Sunday 5th December. They promise:

Festive frolics, seasonal shenanigans, yummy cakes, mulled wine, the near legendary HCGC soup, wreath and table decoration making workshops, oh and just everything. Really. Well, lots of stuff anyway. Remember, your life will be a shallower and slightly less shiny experience for not going!

And while you’re down there, they also have Christmas trees – “ethically sourced, non-needle-festooning” trees “in a multitude of permutations and sizes” for sale. And they’ll even recycle your tree for you after the festive season…
