New bins?

Last week we received the good news that the Cranswick Sq area will hopefully be getting large communal recycling bins, to replace the inefficient and untidy plethora of individual household recycling bins which mess up the streets and seem to actually deter people from recycling their waste. We’re told that probable sites for the bins have been identified (by council officers doing a site visit) to serve Henbury, Markington, Driffield and Cranswick Streets and parts of Lloyd St South and Edith Avenue. Now the new sites need formal council approval. Fingers crossed!
