Cranswick Square clean-up day

The next Cranswick Square clean-up day will take place on 21st May.
As usual, local volunteers will be helping to clean up streets and alleys on Henbury Street, Markington Street, Driffield Street, Cranswick Street, Broadfield Road, Claremont Road and Lloyd Street South, and prepare The Triangle for its grand opening! We also hope to have enough local and student volunteers to re-plant the flower tubs and hanging baskets which have been such a success over the past few years (including winning us a regional In Bloom prize).
Sadly, due to government cut-backs, skips will no longer be available to take large pieces of waste during the clean-up day, but we do hope to have rubbish bags and to be able to help less able-bodied residents to shift larger items.
Anyone, young or old, is welcome to come along and help out (hot drinks and biscuits provided to helpers). Drop us a line if you want more information or have ideas to share.
