CSRG committee member ‘Moss Side Ambassador’

Phil Dodd, one of the leading members of the Cranswick Square Residents’ Group committee and the driving force behind many of the amazing changes which have taken place in the neighbourhood in recent years, was featured in the Manchester Evening News recently as a Moss Side Ambassador. These are members of the local community who want to help show how much Moss Side has changed from its poor historical image, and what a great place it can be to live and work in.
As Phil told the MEN, “People from outside the area still have a bad perception of Moss Side, but it actually has some of the lowest crime rates in Manchester. I’ve been here 30 years and I love it – it’s so multicultural. We have people living here from all over the world and all seem to get on”.
